About AMP
Ashley Ponson, Founder
With over 10 years of both frontline and leadership experience, Ashley Ponson understands the daily struggles of mission driven nonprofits. Ashley’s experience in a variety of roles gives her unique insight into the needs of clients, staff, administration, board members and community members- all of whom are vital to the development of a successful and healthy nonprofit.
In addition to her formal education, Ashley is certified to administer Jackie Campbell’s Danger Assessment, holds multiple Salesforce Certifications, and has presented her work at numerous academic and professional conferences.
In her free time Ashley loves to volunteer with issues close to her heart, spend time with her amazing friends and family, and attempt to get out of every escape room she can.

- Work in community with others. Build connections and community between myself and my clients, while helping organizations find those connections in their own communities that continue to foster the training and skills provided by AMP's consultation.
- Think outside the box. Always willing to reinvent processes and procedures if they are not working. Nothing is set in stone, and everything can be customized to meet current challenges.
- Seek continual improvement, growth, and feedback. Recognize that no one has all the answers- but AMP Nonprofit Consulting will work to find the best solutions through collaboration. Will be ready to listen to any feedback, ideas, or grievances from anyone I interact with, and own those mistakes/issues when they occur.
- Value diversity. I will challenge structural inequities and my own personal biases to work to bring diversity in thought and lived experience to every nonprofit I serve.
- Honor and acknowledge resistance. This can come from staff, board, clients, community, and even those who initiate the change. Nothing substantial happens without resistance popping up somewhere. I will honor that resistance, and work to bring everyone into the overall plan.
- Center nonprofits as the catalysts for change that they are. AMP will work with them to make the most positive and effective change in the communities.
